"We needed to manage contracts with due accuracy, making information use more efficient for the staff and containing the operational risks linked to deterioration and potential loss of paper documents", explained Giovanni Bonfanti, Operations Manager at the Cassa di Risparmio di Asti.
Another important objective was to optimize document completeness and/or conformity control through the activation of a single verification center.

The collaboration with C-Global arose from the decision to adopt a structured solution developed by a supplier with substantial expertise in banking on the centralization and digitalization of contractual documentation.
The Cassa di Risparmio di Asti's previous experience revealed how burdensome the internal development of an effective application was in economic and management terms. For this reason, the bank entrusted the management of its paper archives to C-Global, specializing in Business Process Outsourcing, also giving them the task of performing some back office activities.

The implementation of the solution required four months of preparation and two months of fine tuning, with a preliminary assessment phase and the activation of the pilot branches. "Considering that C-Global services are integrated with various components of the Cedacri information system that we use in full outsourcing," adds Bonfanti, "it was possible to implement the application in the broader context of the central information system". Thanks to an advanced workflow motor, the C-Global solution has all of the functions needed for complete management of all phases that occur between the production of a document and its optical acquisition, on up to both paper and electronic archiving.

With the C-Global solution, the Cassa di Risparmio di Asti reduced management costs, optimized the document control phase and limited the risks of deterioration and loss. Today the Bank can monitor the status of any file and optimize the optical acquisition and control phases for processed documents. Plus, by minimizing paper movement, besides reducing the risk of document loss, it was able to control the related transfer costs.
